Gergana Hristova

Dozentin für das Modul Musikmanagement

As a lecturer for the Music Management module, she has been working at the Hohner Conservatory since the beginning of 2023, where she teaches the subjects of Business Fundamentals, Self-Management, and Practical Project Management.
It provides students with the substance to develop their artistic personality and to successfully market it.
In addition, she works as a piano teacher and accompanist at several music schools.
Gergana Hristova completed her artistic pedagogical studies at the State Music Academy in Trossingen with a major in piano. Meanwhile, she began to plan and organize her own concert activities as well as numerous cultural events herself. Thus, she immediately recognized the difficulties of cultural management, reconciling artistic demands with business-related necessities, while also taking into account the concerns of the involved parties.
In an environment of intense competition, she already developed her own PR and marketing strategies in the field of public relations.
Subsequently, she began her master's degree in cultural management with a focus on business at the Weingarten Teacher Training College.
As part of her final project, she had the opportunity to work with cultural institutions from Germany and Austria to gain scientific insights for her research on new funding sources for the cultural sector.
She gained valuable practical experience as an intern at numerous cultural companies in Germany, including AMM (Arts Music Media) in Saarbrücken as an assistant to the management.
Currently, she is the manager of the Incanto Piano Duo, with whom she herself performs regularly in the region as a pianist, together with her twin sister.
